Blimey Mike, and I thought a tenner for a bog standard plastic bidon was a bit steep, that's amazing.

My money is on any shoes being similar to the uber expensive Vitorria ones you can get (with the help of a mortgage).
I see where you're going Mr  . I think they'll mega retro with leather uppers, probably brogue styling and of course will use the finest leather this side of the Andies!

So not unlike my lace-up Carnacs then. I think Joyce has got a pair too 8) .
overheard in Condor last week...

"Rapha are doing shoes, probably next year..."

Any suggestions on what they'll look like?

If this summer's anything to go by you'll get a good look as you ride past their owners on the etape/marmotte/dragon. Hope they're suitable for walking :D

Yes it will be a retro price, it will be a pre-credit crunch price, which is retro right :?: .

Mind you with the way that sterling has moved in the last couple of weeks, next year your Italian and Japanese gear is going to get a hell of a lot more expensive.

Cheers

The trouble for Rapha is if you want ludicrously expensive shoes then you could get these, a bargain at USD 675 :!: :!: :!: Go to the shoe gallery to see just how hideous they can make a pair of shoes look.

Nice to note that Zipp can still be relied upon for stupid product names/descriptions. I give you the drying towel  (it's in front of the poster Sean  ). Hmmm not the one that makes you wetter then. Not quite sure how a towel qualifies for their stupid Speed Weaponry slogan either, perhaps it's dimpled   .
