West Kent RC - January 11
The WKRC reliability trial offers two route options of 85km and 45 km both of which follow quiet country lanes through Kent.
The event raises money for three charities: ‘Kent Air Ambulance Trust, Demelaza House, and the Dave Rayner Fund.

- The event HQ is Horton Kirby Cricket Club, Franks Lane, Horton Kirby, Kent.
- The 85km event starts at 9am and the 45km route starts at 10am. The HQ opens at 08:00 and will close at 14:00
- Entry on the day is £5

I'm thinking of doing this, but I've got several clashes on that day all of which I'd like to do:
1) WKRC RR
2) Spoco SE lunch & prize presentation
3) Offroading with Marco
4) Staying warm under the duvet

Looks pretty good, i think i'll be up for this at a steady-ish pace. If i do it i'll definitely be riding over there so can arrange to meet up at CSS or GBs etc.

I've done it in the past and it's a nice route. Be warned that there are a couple of tricycle clubs over that way, and if you go up hills like me then towards the end you have the pleasure of weaving up a steep hill whilst a balding grey haired chap of 60+ rides straight by on a trike as if it was a mere speedbump.

If I get up, I'd guess I'd be at the roundabout before Coney Hall on the (A232) around 8.00.

Is that the roundabout at the bottom of Corkscrew Hill or Glebe Way (or maybe neither)?

It's Glebe way just before the shops.
