Serge, I think it would make sense to try and race in the same timezone if we want to travel together, not possible if I race in Masters or Supermasters. I don't want to race in Experts (cos I'm scared of the Elites that race there, and they do 5 laps), looking at the definitions I can't see a reason why I wouldn't be able to race in Sports - there is no apparent upper age limit (hmm a lie in in the morning). I'll email Paul Howard and ask him. This would be good as would allow more recovery time + sleep if I chose to do a road race on the Saturday. Let me know if you are against that ( )

Coward  . No-one else will want to race with them either though so you'll get a good placing, I got 4th (out of 4 and albeit a country mile and a lap or two behind the other 3) by getting confused and entering the wrong class in that Beastway race  .

Admitedly you were racing against BJ Whenman that day. But last year at Gorrick the likes of Gareth Montgomery were racing in Experts, one NPS race they both did last year he won and came 14 places ahead, and almost 14 minutes ahead of BJ  http://www.timelaps.co.uk/assets/upload ...
