would anyone be interested in an extended ride?(not one for those under the thumb) you could start normal time, take it easy down to charlwood where id arrive...could then leave, head over to box, through a 20% hill over to newlands..climb that, have a quick stop for toilet and water refill, then ride on.go up ranmore, turn right at the top, drop back down into boxhill, climb that, then drop down, head back into couldson, over to purley climb up heading towards titsy, caterham and whyteleaf..then its alll down hill back into purley. this wouldnt be an easy ride, but ill do hills on granny gears taking it slow, easy, practising technique, so i guess everyone would beat me!!!! this ride wouldnt be weather dependant, all i ask is that i get in 6 hours, and coming from brighton this should be easily be possible.

let me know, otherwise, ill go be a loner.

marek, thing you could stay out an extra 3 hours or so? dave, ian, sean etc etc....

Hi Rob, we are intending on going with the normal club run this weekend. We are likely to be doing an hour warm up from 8am then join the club run. We could then come over to Dorking area with you. I don't mind doing some of the ride you have planned, may go straight home after Ranmore and Box Hill and miss out the other part of your ride.

Cheers

Hi

I'd be up for the ride from 8am. I presume from CSS.

Sorry I've been out of comms for the past week - had a manic week at work. Ride last weekend with Marec was top (although the run off was pretty pathetic!), so am looking froward to another outing.

See you tomorrow,
James

Sorry did not make it for 8am James, I hope you did not wait for us, there was too much snow at that time so decided to wait until a bit later and went out with the 9.30am group.

Cheers

Sorry Rob, we slowed up a lot on the top of box hill. Although we did not stop, we did not realise you were having problems. We carried on in the expectation that you were probably taking it easy as you were planning on riding for 6 hours, I thought that you were going to go onto Ranmore etc.

Cheers
