Marek, here are some highlights:

The coast road Andratx - Banyalbufar - Deja - Soller. Either the whole thing or turning off at Valldemosa. Brilliant in either direction, but slightly scarier doing it southbound as the huge drop to the sea is closer.

Puig Major (Soller to Lluc or vice versa), taking in Sa Callobra (time and climbing-legs permiting).

But my personal favorite is the Bunyola - Orient - Alaro road which goes through a beautiful hidden valley high in the mountains.

Marek

We'll do all of those that Jon suggests - all top rides. The hills tend to be very long but not obscenely steep think miniature Marmotte rather than Surrey hills

I'll do a map showing all the key areas and rides and post it here. The good news the road layout is not too complex and after just one or two rides you'll get your bearings in relation to the key towns and you can diversify to suit your needs.

More that it's an open forum Snoop so anyone can see it, that's why there's sometimes the odd dodgy post with links before it gets deleted. Not wanting to be a Grumpy Gus but it's worth bearing in mind before you post any details about your address or phone or pics of bikes.

Never know what sort of pictures you might get sent to your phone  .

They are only rocks. Bound to be a way through, probably hidden in the photo by that big one in the foreground. Bring mtbs.

Those rocks would be a bit of a surprise when you come round a sweeping bend at 30mph

Just means we'll have to do Puig Major both ways if we go to Sa Callobra.
Better bring a light bike, and some climbing legs, and some lights.

Flights & accomodation booked for 6 nights 1st April to 7th April.
What sort of cost do you think, the transfer from Palma to the hotel and back would be including bike.

Have a quote of £28.75 per person return. Does this sound reasonable ?
