Club Run 31 Jan

Heads up warning....

Rode through the lanes today and some were icy - slipped twice near Betchworth  but stayed upright :D

Be careful tomorrow if you are going across Reigate Heath as the forecast is for another cold one.

I cycled to B&Q this morning on my mtb (com) mutant machine. The first 100 yards of road outside my hoose had a hard frost. A few doors down it just disappeared, stopped in a straight line across the roads and pavement, where the road rises slightly.

Be careful outside my gaff y'all.

Fine on a MTB :D .

It might have been a bit OTT but I thought it was worth saying as if it is sub zero over night and staying very cold all day I don't think a club run with bigger groups down quiet lanes is that wise. I'll be on more main roads I know that.

No Toks the roads were fine, 99.9% dry and totally ice free. Wasn't really that cold.

If he did get in, I have it on good authority he'd have been turning round and going home again straight away as the office is closed!
