CSS 6 turned up in total. Poor show from Vice captians and ... No I'll stop there because I don't blame you at all for not coming out. :D

2 went off the Reigate
2 went home
1 fell off at CSS and went home (hope the elbow and thumb is working now)
1 left... that was me

I decided to ride around Croydon and surrounding areas to jus get some miles in, I made it all the way to the the Royal Oak Centre and got a Psssssssssssssss. Put new tube in it and the valve had a psssssss in it, bugger it! went straight home to the the turbo for an hour to warm up.

Better luck next week folks

There was a good VC turnout of 3 on the MTB ride :D .
Sorry you ended up on your tod and then got a kick in the knackers from the puncture fairy :( .
[quote="Marek"]2 hours on the mountain bike in Tilgate Forest today. Tough going as the tracks are quite waterlogged now and so you have to pedal very hard to get anywhere. Fell off a couple of times as went into a couple of puddles that were a lot deeper than I had expected, the front of the bike stopped and I didn't.

 If it stays as cold and potentially icy as is forecast then I might go out on the MTB again next week - I'll post if I am so you can see if there are any suitable trains if you have the time/inclination. More fun than just riding up and down the A roads (I'll do enough of that once the TT season starts) and gives a good workout.
I'm pretty sure I can remember the route Grahame took us on this week so may do that again, although I won't expect his wife to keep laying on the tea :P , even if none of the normal off-road routemasters are about. Will have to find a new bit at the end but that shouldn't be too difficult, could even play in the woods at Sparrow's Den if feeling fit enough/have enough time. The snow may melt but if it stays icy enough to keep me off the roads then the trails will hopefully stay un-boggy.
