Did you stay @ the SP Hotel after ACC Dinner?

Postby Snoop Doug » Mon Feb 23, 2009 2:04 pm

Folks - just got my credit card statement through. Turns out someone at SPH had tried to hit me for an extra payment, £63.66. I had not signed for it and when I phoned to challenge, the amount was refunded back to my card (all too easily if you ask me.....).

Also - a card I used there has just been cancelled after being used by a fraudster. This second point may well have nowt to do with SPH but the first clearly does.

Check your cc bills carefully y'all...

Having worked in a hotel for years, I would advise you to check any hotel bill, or restaurant bill for that matter, very very carefully!

Snoop, that'll be the bar bill that we charged to your room
Cheers.

I got charged twice for the room - I booked via lastminute.com and paid when I booked, then when I checked out they charged me again. In my hungover state I didn't query it at the time. It was only when my credit card bill turned up that I realised. Anyway I phoned them up and they refunded it back onto my card. Would have turned out to be a very expensive night otherwise.
