Given the number of ACC jerseys I see on my way to and from work, I thought this might be of interest...

OK, this is controversial......I don't think this would happen because the majority of this country is ignorant to any form of transport other than the car. They are just too lazy, physically and mentally, to consider even getting public transport to somewhere let alone getting on a bike. I'm not anti-car, just anti-car dependency. Burn fat not petrol!

Unfortunately the large majority of the British public get their cue from the US rather than Europe and see people on bikes as just plain 'weird'.

It's a similar attitute to that of sport, where football is king and any other sport, especially those Britain doesn't do well in, isn't worth considering.

I'd love to be proved wrong though!
