Right - that's got yer attention.
So I have a carbon aero seat post fitted to a carbon frame. It has a do upness of 4NM apparently. I need a torque wrench or else. That's what Dauphins said anyhoo - they reckon if I overtighten it'll crack the frame. So what you may ask?? Well I've ridden this TT bike twice now and both times it's left me lower back very sore - quite a sharp specific pain. I think the saddle must be too high. I'm a bit worried if I let the bolts off then redoing them might be accompanied by a carbony cracky sound. So - here's the question (I should stress that I do of course take full responsibility for any action I take based on any advice I may or may not receive). If I undo the bolts and remember how many turns, can I redo by the same number of turns with any degree of confidence that the do upness factor of 4NM is unlikely to be breached?
Phew! Answers on a postcard to dimwit dungeons please
