I was in the company of Amy and her friend. We rode out to a place called Clandon. The route was nice and flat with some semi long stretches of roads, appealing to riders of all abilities including the not so strong ones like myself. The scenery along this route was lovely I’d honestly say its worth considering if you’ve not done this ride already.

We arrived at the Clandon House Garden Centre where they served a variety of delicious cakes in large slices…mmm :D . This wasn’t the only café on route there were others along the way including one with a large front garden eating area.

To sum it up it was a beautiful ride that I personally would recommend others to try.

Well, there seems to be more interest in the ride now that it's been and gone then there was before.

Yes, do come along, Mr Munnery - you know as well as I how many roads are out there to be enjoyed beyond the club run... Are you going to be doing any alternative rides (on Sundays) once you have more time? (ps how's Jo?)

I missed that one - you're not thinking of the Black Swan (Marky Mark, a pub!)

Oh and Snoop, we left promptly at 9.30am 8)
