Fantastic phwooor

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Is the fourth place rider THE Matt Seaton? He of 'Escape Artist' fame?

He's probably riding better now than he ever has!
Quite hard to beat at Eastway & he's always up there at Palace.
Nice bloke too.

Hey well done last night Brett!! You were the main guy chasing down all the breaks. Some guy brought me down with about 7 laps to go. I thought I might make the top 15 otherwise!!

Hope you're ok Toks.

I hope me charging down the inside into the hairpin didn't cause it.
It's quite hard to get to the front of an 80 up field when there's limited passing opportunities, especially when the A's catch the B's & no room is given for us to get past!

Having said that, the pace didn't ease up once we caught you. Race average speed 26mp/h..... not bad for a hilly, tight circuit.

Hope to see you next week, don't forget in 3 weeks time it's cash paid for placings as the 'league' finishes in a fortnight.

Nah! we were alone just behind you and some how on the hairpin this guy slidout. Perhaps he didn't put enough pressure on his handlebars when turning. I just avoided falling on top of him. Apart from a sore hip and back I'm ok. Next tuesday I'm gonna hang on for dear life at Palace and see if I can last all 27 laps without being dropped. It was my first time two weeks ago and I made it to the 6th lap before waving goodbye to the 12/13 leaders. I'm getting fitter, but as steve cave said to me 'its more about technique that than fitness'.
