Joyce,

Joanna and I are really sorry for your loss. He was a great "old boy", always ready with a smile- he certainly lived a full life in the last few years with all his trips.

We really will miss his cheery smile at the cafe, and his support at all the ACC events.

So sorry to hear about this.

Jean and I are so sorry to hear this tragic news, Joyce. We remember his bubbly presence at the National 12, helping George (after watching the Olympic Marathon all night!), and also at the SCCU 100, besides of course as the ever-cheerful soul he was, at Pine Cafe and the clubroom. I exchanged 'old days' reminiscences about TTs and was impressed by his times then. He is the kind of person who personifies why the club cycling scene is as great today as it was those decades ago.

Here's Keith running up the road to help keep George stocked up in the 12hr last year, in between offering his enthusiastic support to all of us who rode.

Very saddened to hear the sad and sudden loss of Keith.

I remember first meeting Keith back when I rode with the Croydon CTC over 10 years ago. He always had a great passion for life and always had a story to tell about his cycling exploits.
Will be sadly missed by so many.

My thoughts are with you and your family Joyce.

Folks

I will be doing a write up for the advertiser again this week. I thought it would be nice to centre it on Keith as so many folk were out racing in his memory. Anyone know when he joined ACC and how old he was??

I didn't really want to disturb Joyce so hoping someone here can help.

Cheers - Snoop

I think he might have joined shortly before Joyce did...which was at least 60 yrs ago...but don't know any more specifically than that. Chris & John Watts might know...
