I think it was pbs all round yesterday:

Richard Viney 4.13.45 (23.65mph avg and 6th Fastest)
Robert Royle-Evatt 4.26.01 (22.55mph)
Tamar Collis 4.50.40 (avg 20.64mph)

lst Hcp Richard
4th Hcp Tamar
5th Hcp Robert R-E

2nd team (though no award for this) - the ACC.

Thanks in particular to Linda Good and Chris Watts for handing out drinks and to everyone else who turned up to cheer us on. V much appreciated (even if I didn't look too happy at the time).

Thanks also to the guys handed over an allen key Tour De France style then drove behind me with their hazards on as I weaved around trying to fix my tri-bars at 20mph!

Congrats to all the ACCers. How you all concentrate for 4 plus hours is beyond me.
Well done Richard, hopefully we`ll be doing the Redmon again this year.
Best wishes

Awesome results! The times and av. speed in mph don't speak to me, but translated into kph that is very impressive!

Was it a single loop or a series of laps?

Just one long circuit, which included two laps of the first part of the course which amounted to about 60 miles. On the subject of riding for 4hrs plus, I`m doing the a 12hr in a couple of weeks and need to lay my hands on some aero bars that will fit oversized handlebars. Even just to borrow for the duration of the race. I intend to ride the first 100miles on a TT bike but then transfer to a conventional bike with the aero bars on for the remainder. Can any one help?

My aero bars might fit...just make sure they're done up properly prior to the event!

My thanks as well to everyone who helped out.

Tamar's ride was particularly impressive - only two minutes off the club record and helping us as a team to post a faster total time than last year (when we won the team trophy).

Terry, I've got the Redmon pencilled in in my diary (although I'm not expecting my form to hold that long so I will have slowed down a bit by then).
