Chelmer CC hardriders 25.5 TT

Brrrr, cold start this morning, 2 degrees most of the way there, and probably about 4 or 5 by the time I started at 10:15.

This was a new course, so I didn't know what it was like. Anyway, it was a mixture of minor lanes, B roads and A roads, mostly rolling and some rubbish road surfaces in a few places.

Once I'd warmed up (well, stopped shivering) I felt OK, and along the way caught my minute man and a few others. Nobody caught me which was good. Got round in 1:08:01 which was 13th place out of 50-something finishers. In the top quarter, so reasonably pleased with that, and some good SPOCO points.

Cup of tea and a bacon sarnie at the HQ, then headed off to another corner of Essex to watch Georgezilla and Tango Man in the Dengies race.
