Majorca weather - update

Postby huw williams » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:45 pm

Some of you going to Majorca this week may have heard less than inspiring things about the weather.

Well it's true - there's a small team form CW out here at the moment doing (or rather not doing) a photoshoot and test. Our intrepid editorial assistant Penny Commins says they haven't set foot out of the hotel in 3 days due to the bad weather and its not due to change much til friday when its supposed to be glorious for the remainder of our trip (these are local forecasts which are normally quite reliable).

Anyway, let's all have a meet up on thursday morning at breakfast in Pionero (8.30am ish???) and we'll have a look at the situation before deciding on a ride for the day

I of course won't be there having sold my bike...

I found this website that has local weather updates.

http://www.mallorcadiario.com/index.php ... &Itemid=86

Just click near the most south westerly point of the map - on the Province of Calvia (on the left of Palma). That's where Santa Ponsa is situated.
