Handicap 11th Aug Newdigate

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Handicap 11th Aug Newdigate

Should be a good circuit I think there will be a big addiscombe turnout for this one.

Can someone tell me where the H.Q is ?

Good luck !

If you go to the pub car park on the corner at Newdigate then people will show you where to go to sign on. It is normally around the corner out of the back of Keith Butlers car, but someone will show you.

Cheers

7.15pm I believe.

Best of luck at the palace. I think I can only dream of keeping up for one lap never mind just being lapped once.

Cheers

racing at Newdigate

Postby Kevin Rynne » Mon Aug 08, 2005 1:38 pm

Going to try my first Surrey League race and first road race in a few years. Does anyone know what the nearest train station is to Newdigate. :?: oh and how long do they go on for is it so many laps or a certain amount of time racing?

I think it is

36 miles which is 4 laps

Should be a massive turnout for Addiscombe. I reckon there could be 10 riders down there from the Addiscombe.

He hey,

Hopefully traffic will be bad on the M1 thursday, maybe give some of us first time ACCers a chance :) tweaking those twitchers I bet Mr Liquigas?
I think its 4 laps of a 7.25mile circuit,so just over an hour, but if you cained it at the week end like me, then its gonna be a world of pain!
Only advantage I have, is its a similar lap distance to richmond park.

gonna be exciting no matter what!

Don't worry, the winner was an Elite so he would have started after most of the other riders who would no doubt have done the race a lot slower than him.
