Lost in time as well as space!

It's not till Easter Saturday, 11 April. With any luck it'll be a bit warmer then. Better than Mallorca, even 8)

Mr  and a few of the other likely lads are away getting wetted by the water in Majorca.

I'm a bit of a doubtful because apart from being completely unfit, I'm feeling a little viral. I'm going to decide one way or the other later on in the week.

Back now :D . The rain was murder, and the weather was so bad even I got some colour through the factor 30. Speaking of 30 that's what the temp thingie in Soller said just as we set off for the Big Pig. Some great riding (although it was a bit hot under the sun on the Puig Major but then only mad cyclist were stupid enough to be on the side of a mountain in that heat when the locals were tucked up in the shade  ), and the 30mph blast back from Pig Pig and Soller behind the TGV (Marek) was a hoot.

Back on topic in theory it is still on for this Saturday. I will post at the end of the week when the forecast might be more accurate as I will cancel it if there are showers forecast. It's meant to be an enjoyable day on the bike and it won't be as enjoyable if after 70/80 miles I'm wet and on and off with a rain cape and then have another 60/70 left to do.

Sorry folks I'm going to have to call this off as I've got a sore throat and bit of a snotty nose. Fit as a fiddle when I got on the plane so presume I must have picked something up from the lovely germ riddled recycled air they pump around planes these days. :(

I'll try and squeeze it in later in the year if I get a chance.

As opposed to the wall-to-wall fag smoke of the De Havillands of your youth

Shame - weather looked to be holding up as well. Maybe see you for just a normal CR, then

Bizarelly, in the good ole days of capstan puffing on the plane, they used to completely replace the air frequently as a way of dealing with ye fag smoke. Now, most of it's recycled. So you get much much less fresh air on a no smoking plane. Weird eh?

B&H anyone   ??
