For those that couldn't make it, I just thought I'd put up a few words about Keith's funeral from my perspective.
A big turn out amongst which, lots of ACC either resplendent in v dark suits and black ties, or the club colours. Good work team, you know he'd have been proud
The vicar (is that right ??) spoke Joyce's words and thoughts with sensitivity. I usually find that bit somewhat cringeworthy but for me, the lady got it about right. Not too familiar, sensitive. Respect.
Keith Butler wore his heart on his sleeve and did Keith proud. Somehow he managed to keep it together and talk with warmth, humour, admiration and much love about Keith. At times very funny, at times, very humbling. I had a little knowledge of Keith's achievements, but just like at Eddie's funeral I left thinking, crikey - that's quite a guy we're seeing off today.
I couldn't get back to Joyce's after but there was as sense of calm and togetherness afterwards that was very powerful indeed.
