A big thank you to Huw for getting us to all get our asses into gear and book this up. It was extraordinarily cheap for the flight and hotel which therefore meant that although the Euro is not at a great rate it was not too bad. The free booze after most meals tended to get everyone pretty well warmed up so needed to buy less beers in the bars etc. Although Paul Dewis certainly did not hold back on the odd occasion. His stumbling around downtown Santa Ponca was a sight not to be missed, he spent about an hour trying to talk to me and I could not understand a word he said.

The riding in Majorca is great for a heavy weight like me, the gradients of the climbs are relatively gentle, and although the climbs are long they are very manageable. We managed to get in some great rides, and the long ride of the week was awesome. Fantastic weather, some great climbs, great company and we found some nice little cafes. Also, Baguette with cheese slices and anchovies is great, just so you know for future reference.

On one of the group rides I even got to ride with a group of Dutch flatlanders who pile drived it down the dual carriageway to Palma. Awesome fun, although meant I got lost and had to find my way back to the hotel on me tod, but was worth it.

The ride up to Valledemosa with Jon, Andrew G, Paul Dewis and Ben was great fun. The descent out of the town was awesome and is one not to forget.

Should also say a big thanks to my roomie, Andy Ellis who was riding very well. He had to put up with me getting back a bit later every night.

Cheers

Oh yes and not to forget that I reckon we will soon have another couple of handy races in Paul Ingram and Claire. Very good riders and are ones to watch.

Cheers

Cannot add much but just to say thank you to Huw for organising and Jon H for taking us on one or two adventures.
Couldn't fault the hotel or location and would recommend to others.
Hope to go there again, as there are 1 or 2 climbs still to be conquered.

Missed out this ACC trip this year, but remember many of the places you rode to.The scenery is still as wonderfull&

the company still as good.
Some of the far away places were done by me in the car, especially the round the Island week-end.Sun ,rain.,wind all included.Nothing ever changes.
Long live cycling.
Happy cycling Joyce the boss.

Yep, big thank you from me too. It was a truly awesome trip, with some of the best riding i've ever done.

Hmm, i'm sure you waking me up at 3.30am was just a tactic on your part so i was too tired to take more than 25mins out of you on Puig Major, would have been embarrasing otherwise eh
