Some stats from the races. Max speed is not so accurate as my speedo showed just under 75km/h at some point on race 2. Also elevation, although consistent, seems way overstated.

Total Time - Total Distance - Elevation Gain - Elevation Loss - Av Speed - Max Speed - Average HR - Max HR

There's a report on BC - but they've kind of mixed up some of the two races together and Steve "Callard" pops up in the 3rd cat race winning a stage

Fantastic Sylv, the best result for a male Addiscombe racer for years.

During the race there's so much to be aware of on the motorcycle I don't have time to watch the race. Having said that at about mid distance I did see a group of eight get away from the bunch trying to get across to the lead group and I thought "oh no Sylv, get in that move mate or GCs gone" but luckily the bunch had the same idea and eventually not only that group but indeed the lead riders were brought back.

You certainly are a racer comming of age and learning to dig deep and cope with the huge efforts required to never give up and a strong determination to finish and succeed. All this with not even a hint of over reaction or panic but measuring your efforts to great effect and riding to your strengths. I could not be more pleased for you Sir. Very well done.

Ok now I can say it ... on the morning of stage 2 I noticed a sizeable cut on my front tub ... had ordered some replacements the week before but then got told they were discontinued ... I rode the next two races with it ... but I turned the wheel back to front as the cut was on the left side and most of the turns on the counter-clockwise circuits were left-hand :)

New tubs :)

Toks I will use the Powertap at Palace :)

A very impressive result this weekend Sylv, top work.

My Irish mates and I were following the 3-day with interest, John and I were both in agreement that your ride was nothing short of exceptional.

Well done.

Just needs a bit of lime green, and PotP would wear it.
