Weekend MTB rides

Postby ilongville » Wed Apr 15, 2009 3:25 pm

I've moved to the UK a few months ago and I'm keen to get involved in a club. As a starting point, I've heard there are a few weekend MTB rides organised by Addiscombe.

Can somone provide me with the time and meeting point of the rides?

Thanks,
Ian

I was thinking it's been a while since the last one so how about this Sunday 10am from East Croydon. 2-3hours easy pace.

Sorry Ian it's got a bit ad-hoc, as is often the way with the MTB rides :D . Yes at East Croydon Railway Station, by the side where the taxi rank is. Most of the MTB rides have the meet here unless otherwise stated in the post. Marco, Grahame, and Aodan (higg) know a ton of fantastic trails around the area and the MTB rides are excellent fun. Might bump in to you on one of them at some point but I'll be charging up and down a dual carriageway in a pointy hat on Sunday morning so will miss this one. Enjoy.

Well, I'm very keen but won't be able to do this weekend (or the next two) sorry - just too short notice with prior commitments.

I'm actually disappointed that I can't make it; will these rides be mroe regular as we head into summer?

Hopefull see you at one soon

unlucky lads. I'M COMING. blame marco, i dragged out one of those ugly things with fat tyres out just now and pumped up the tyres etc etc. i'm starting to appreciate how much better road helmets look to mtb ones after finding mine.

Thanks to everyone for turning up today and thanks to Marco for finding yet another variation of the familar trails.

I am toying with the idea of a similar easy ride next Sunday but starting from Coulsdon South. Watch this space.
