Dr this morning confirmed I'm not in too bad a shape, indeed I seem to be good at bouncing.
Only real concern was any damage I may have done to my coccyx, which is to be duly monitored. Other than that, my wrist and right shoulder (again) are the other problem areas. My foot seems in pretty good nick, and cycling is not a problem on it, although walking is a bit painful.
So having been advised to keep moving I hopped on my, now, training bike (R3
). Off I went, actually I felt ok. My wrist was the most persistent source of pain, but not excruciating. Then when pushing hard in the saddle my coccyx was causing quite a bit of discomfort, and felt like it was really robbing me of power. So my hill reps weren't exactly blistering. But it was good just to be back on the bike.
So, see you Saturday for the clubrun...
Oh yeah, and the police are now on the case. Will be interesting to see how they get on, the officer I spoke to certainly agreed the driver was 100% at fault.
