E/1/2/3
Three riders had gone through the 3/4 cats, when members of the chasing pack decided without direction to take the Palace shortcut, creating instant confusion. All riders then came together and the mass sprint was won by Felix English (Corridori), but after consultation the top three's were awarded to the original break.

Interesting to see how well both Felix English and Hugo Humperys are doing. Felix raced mainly in the 3/4ths at CP last year, winning a few races and Hugo did the junior races but moved up to the 3/4ths at the end of the season and won the last (I think) 3/4th race at CP last year. He won the london youth games 2008 time trial around the CP circuit. I guess he'll make 2nd cat soon enough. Age (or lack of) has it's advantages!
I was beside no 7 Wayne Cromach for most of the race prior to the mix up, what might have been!
