Hi Carl,

Yes, I'm in AG I, don't really know about ranking as BTF site is still just showing Emberton Park and Clumber. As I didn't do Clumber that means I only have one score so its all pretty meaningless. I managed to get 3rd in AG H in 2004, but it was an odd year, if I had gone to the last race, presuming I beat those who I had beaten all year I would have won the rankings! On the other hand there were several around who beat me in the races they did and could have beaten me, but they only did one or two races and hence didn't figure well in the rankings.

Will get in touch about Oulton, hoping to shed a few pounds and sharpen up a little by then ... perhaps a full on assault on 2010 season?

Will you be doing the club evening TTs? I'm going to do some of them to keep me going on the racing front.

Hi Sylv (if you are still reading this thread) nice result at that off-road duathlon you did earlier!

cheers,

Huw

Hi Carl,

Yeah, just checked that out, so am quite chuffed. :D

However, on closer inspection, whereas I don't think anyone can touch your Winning position with only one race to go (Congratulations!), if the top seven in my group all race at Oulton, then on form I would drop down to 6th. Anyway, I should be quicker by October, we'll just have to see how it goes, after all "You've got to be in it to win it!"

cheers,

Huw
PS Do you run with SLH?

Hi Paul,

I did a session last night, but it was in a pub in Clapham and I didn't feel too clever this morning - this could explain the difference (or some of it) between your run times and mine!

Will try and get to SLH on a Tuesday or Thursday before end of May, but am away on contract at the moment, which makes it a bit more difficult, but not impossible!

cheers,

Huw
