Interesting, seems there may have been suspicions since 2001.

[quote="marco"]Yes, authorities were certain they had footage of him injecting epo but he claimed it was B12. As you do.
...

How could they fall for that one? When the B12 levels get a bit low, you just have a Marmite sandwich, as any fule kno  .

[quote="marco"]One day cycling fans are going to realise whats going on here...

Afraid I have realised... :( Aside from the Olympics I can't recall the last time I gave a tuppenny to55 about a pro race. It's a filth ridden cess pool poisoning our wonderful sport.

Happy cycling

I like the way that the Google translation of the Doctor, Lazzaro, is rendered as Lazarus. Doubtless raises suffering riders from a near-death state? :?

I was in Belgium yesterday, and although I didn't have the opportunity to do the race I thought I might, the day was by no means wasted. I did three hours with Matt Green and some of his Cinelli-Down Under team, with whom Frank Vandenbroucke is making his umpteenth comeback. It was also a good opportunity to meet their manager, hopefully this time next year, he'll be my manager.

Marco, I'm suprised you didn't mention that VdB recently effectively admitted that he was on EPO in '99, but that everyone else was too, so that makes his win credible. To an extent, I agree with him. Though he should have kept his mouth shut. Either way, he was such an amazingly talented rider it is hard to say that he wouldn't have won it had he and everyone else been clean at the time.

Believe me, I'm working as hard as I can right now. The interesting thing will be whether that is enough.
