CR 7th May 09

Postby Marky Mark » Thu May 07, 2009 7:31 pm

Turned up a bit late so not suprised that the headcount for this CR was = 1. ME

Where do I start? oh yeah, my house.

Home to Charlwood pins cafe
I spent a lot of time up the front! just my luck with a strong head wind coming up from the SW at approx 13 mph.
Could of done with some help at the front so I done a mini Chain-gang with me at the front then I took over then done some more sessions at the front, that wind was hard work.
Scary stuff on the new road surface of loose stones past Reigate.
Distance 24.03 miles
Time 1h 20m 29s
Av Speed 17.91 mph :D
Av HR 153 bpm
Max Speed 38.86 mph
Max HR 168 bpm

Charlwood Cafe
The last slice of chocolate cake and fresh orange juice
Time 4m 54s done :D

Cafe to Purley Tesco (had to overtake a coach in the lanes, he was only doing 25  )
Distance 17.02 miles
Time 52m 11s
Av Speed 19.7 mph :D :D :D Who's the daddy? :P
AV HR 155 bpm
Max Speed 38.84 mph
Max HR 172 bpm

Tesco to Home (uphill)
Distance 1.33 miles
Time 6m 59s
Av Speed 11.39 mph
AV HR 158 bpm
Max Speed 17.5 mph
Max HR 169 bpm

In other words 42.38 miles in 2h 24m 30s on my own, I'm well happy with that ride.

And no Sean I'm not doing the 20's this Saturday CR
Minor discomfort in knees now but not bad enough to moan about.

I can't tell you how happy I am with that ride.......

Your ever loving, getting fitter, Marky Mark
