Club Record Attempt

Postby George » Tue May 05, 2009 8:52 am

Next weekend Mr PVT and I will be attempting the tandem 30 record which has stood for 70 years

Paul will be in control of the brakes and I'm the stoker.

Yesterday we had a test run on the Horsham dual carriageways, which felt nice and smooth, we managed to roll along nicely at 30mph without too much trouble.

After the Southwater turn the drag up to hop oast felt faster than a solo :D

An average of 29mph will be needed to break the record fingers crossed.

Good luck to you both!!

That explains why you're not riding the 50 on Sunday.

Good luck fellas, and yes that does explain the missing two from the 50 as I thought you'd both be doing that one.

72 years - since 1937.
If you beat that one, then have a go at the 100 which has stood since 1938.
