Ras de Cymru 2009: 2,3,4 Welsh Stage Race

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

We can't go wrong with Huw on board :)

TTT practice - I could tentatively do this Saturday (although might have to be on enforced rest due to tiredness, eg not lasting more than 20min at Palace last night :-( );

The following weekend was thinking of doing the Brighton run on Saturday, so maybe Sunday (or Monday even)?

It's really good fun when you've got a good drill, really enjoyed the TTT with Dom and George

For reference the ITT is 4.3miles and TTT 14 miles.

Any day on the Bank Hol weekend should be fine for me too as long as it's early-ish i.e. i'm back home by midday.

Is it correct though that it's only me with a TT bike or any kind of TT equipment?

If it is you might find yourself on the front a little more than the others, like about 14 miles :D

Yep, I sold my TT bike to Stu last year so i'll be on my road bike with clip-on bars, 50mm rims and maybe a pointy hat if I can scrounge one from somewhere. Don't worry Sylv, just think of all the energy you'll save taking it easy so you don't drop us :wink:

Can't make this saturday (16.05) but sunday is ok (17.05) next saturday or sunday would be fine but you need to let me know which one. It gets dark pretty late now so we could always do an evening session - sacrifice a palace night perhaps.

OK chaps, so with various racing/sportive commitments this weekend why not go for next weekend 23/24?

What's best for everyone, saturday or sunday?

The Saturday would be better for me, but I could probably do Sunday or Monday if that suits others better.
