Bora Testing

Postby mrP(Boonen)VT » Thu Apr 30, 2009 8:53 am

Following George's assertions that Bora's were indestructible, I thought it was about time to conduct a road test of my own, so selecting a nice straight unlit road in the dark, I headed at speed (about 23mph) slightly downhill, through a small pothole, then straight into the kerb, performing a spectacular somersault and landing in a ditch full of brambles  .

Clambered out of said ditch, inspected bike, and it was a thumbs up for the Bora's :D - they came through the test unscathed - more than can be said for my ACC kit, or my left leg.

Only 23mph downhill?
That's not giving them a proper test; go back and repeat it at about 40.
