Did it make for good viewing ? The last race I saw (Olympics) was good with lots of cameras, some on the move.

Could have been better. They only really had 3 area covered and kept showing slow-mos of each bit (run time was 2:24ish). It was too long as they showed nearly every rider and they should have cut it down a lot.

Steve Peat's run was great and he got a good win, although Sam Hill would probably have got him if it hadn't gone a bit wrong. He was up at the first split and then lost about 6 seconds before the second split. Peat generously pointed out that he had dirt on his shoulder so must have come down somewhere. He still finished about 6th or 8th I think.

Extreme TV are currently repeating last years cross country and some of the marathon world cup MTB races.
