Hillingdon duathlon (draft legal)

Only a 1-10-2 but in that vicious wind was enough on that back straight i tell you
Really enjoyed the race though, came into 1st transition with the lead group after a rapid 1st run lap, only to have a terrible transition and actually manage to fall over the bike trying to get on it  - it was the old winter trainer ribble so wasn't worried about scratching it!
That meant i had to chase hard in that wind to get on to the lead pack which i managed to do
One guy managed to pull away and become the eventual winner which left three of us to do a t&o to try and catch him,but he got away and stayed away
On to the final run i pulled away from the two guys i was battling it out with on the bike to get 2nd place and 1st vet and the fastest 2nd run by 40 odd secs
I won 2 bottles of wine :D
Cheers
Carl

Well done.

That guy up the road must have been strong if a few of you doing T&O couldn't catch him.
