Unchained Malody

Postby andrewf » Sat May 23, 2009 7:03 pm

Hi

I'm off to the Alps next weekend :) but for the last couple of weeks my chain has come off every time I backpedal :( . Even a half turn just to clip in and the things off again...I have tried the gear adjuster...half turn here, quarter turn there...to no avail.

Tried GB's on the way back today but their mechanic has broken his wrist in an accident...so, in an effort to avoid Evans West Croydon at all costs ( made a pigs ear of a service a while ago ) does anyone have either a recommendation on who could be open to have a look at it on a Sunday or even better, an idea of how to fix it.

I've only had the bike since October and its been on club runs and thats about all...

Cheers
Andrew

Hi Andrew, if you can bring the bike across to Bromley either this evening or tomorrow (Sunday) evening, I caould have a look at it and see if we can get it sorted.

I didn't offer on the train, 'cos I thought GBs would be able to do a better job in their workshop than I could on the train.

Call me on zero seven seven 1 1 five six three 7 1 6 (attempting to avoid phone number harvesting software) if that's convenient for you.

Thanks all, really appreciate the help. I've given Grahame a buzz and hopefully will be back up and running tomorrow. Cheers George for the offer.
