No idea, I think it was 5th according to Brian Tidey, but am not sure. Actually I was a bit disappointed as I felt terrific on the final climb, I just could not get around the two guys in front of me due to space, I certainly had enough to get past them as they were slowing and I wanted to go faster.

Strange how you can feel really bad before a race and then feel great at the finish. I sat in the whole race and only had one attempt at a breakaway which failed pretty quickly, probably the reason I felt so good at the finish. By the end of the race everyone seemed to be really struggling on the hill and I felt great, think the Alps may have done the trick after all.

BTW, well done on your 11th place in the 2nd cat race. That sounded pretty tough it being over 70 miles. 5 more points to your tally this season looks like you could get up to 2nd cat if you can get a few more decent results in the last few races.
