I notice there is a Surrey League handicap next Thursday on the above course. The gods and my wife seemed to have decreed that I will be off that day because it is a polling day and my boys will be off.

Can somebody tell me what the course is like and travelling time from Merstham area? I have done the route planner thing but am interested in travelling time in the real world round the M25.

Is anybody else doing it?

Keith may be doing this, and I think he has done the course a number of times now. From what I remember him saying before it is pretty flat.

From us (Oxted) it takes about an hour to get there, it's off the Chertsey junction of the M25 (J11?). Probably about the same for you.

Dom, the regular course is shown on the [url=http://www.surreyleague.co.uk/courses/kitsmead.htm]Surrey League website[/url]. (Note, due to roadworks, we used a completely different course back on 30th April.)

It's a pretty flat, fast circuit with 3 easy left turns. There's a small climb as you approach the finishing line.

Won't be doing this now. Forgot about picking up eldest son from his steel band pratice at 6pm so will not have enough time to get there
