ECCA 25

Drove up to this real fast course with Dominic for a go at a real good time.

Well the weather put paid to our pb's, it was fairly fast on the way out but on the return leg it was into a stiff headwind which was real tough.

Managed a 59.14 in the end
Dominic 1.00.06
Jon 1.01.50

I had 170 hr on the way out to the turn but into the wind on the return I could only manage 160 hr, don't know why this is because surely it should have been higher :?

Anyway were all glad of the training and the tt's in the legs.
On a good day this course would be quicker than the G25 any-day except for today.

Not much to add. Fastest time of the year so far. Thought it was going to be a very good time but could feel it slipping on the return leg into the wind. Within about the last 3 miles I began to realise that even going under the hour was slipping away and so it was, hey ho!

The good news is that the bit of structured training I have been doing for the past few weeks seem to be helping. Felt like my power was getting back up there judging by the gears I was using.

Might be just about right for my next planned 25 in September
