It's a legal requirement to carry in Tooting. You can't get in otherwise...

don't joke simon my neighbour downstairs was taking a leak on the path by Tooting Bec running track when he felt someone going in his pocket, when he turned round a bloke had a gun pointing at him, my neighbour was milaitary police and served in bosnia amongst others so he grabbed the blokes arm(went for the gun but said he'd had too many beers)a skuffle went on and he chased the bloke and his accomplce off, nuff respect... so if you know the path don't walk it when its dark, i remember when you could walk home late in tooting drunk as a skunk and not get any problems but i would'nt dream doing it now
