Chertsey MOD 10th Sept

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

I could be up for that though not sure I'm up to 4th cat level.

Otherwise I'll do Hillingdon.

sylvian youd be fine, its flat, so just draft if your feeling the pinch, then batter everyone in the sprint....

Hey Sylv there's no 5th cat level!!He he only joking. Quite a few 4th cats wouldn't survive 1/2 laps in a Palace 3/4 race and you did so don't worry -you'll be fine

Good stuff,

Simon, don't kill me  , I'd like to finish a race, hasn't happened since Newdigate hcap! My attempts at riding at 28mph around Westminster almost resulted in hitting several barriers!! I came so close to taking down about 50 riders behind me  he he. Crystal palace was almost as evil.
I just want to sit on someones wheel for 30miles in relatively little discomfort!!

so thats

Me
Simon H
Sylv

who else?

Toks, you're fit now? although did see you necking a few jars sunday!!!! :D

Good luck with the Ironman Tim.

I am afraid I am away this weekend and I fear I would stuggle as my cycling form has dipped since the heydays of the marmotte!

All the best Simon.

Cheers

I was actually planning on doing the Handicap race that's on after the team race at Chertsey this Saturday.

If you still haven't got a team together and need member then let me know and I will do the team race instead. By the way, although they say 5 to a team isn't just the first 3 that count towards the team result ?

Yes Maria you and me can be the fourth and fifth wheel of the Reliant Robin :) (does that expression make sense in English?).

Are we a sorted team now? I have leaving drinks on Friday so in this case will cut it down to one pint ...

I'm up for joining in.

Though if it's Simon C, Simon H, Sylv and I then we will still need someone else to make it a Super Reliant Robin !
