Sounds like the local bike shop stem sales may do well out of Nick. Alternatively we could do a "SwapShop" type of thing. I've a Ritchey Pro Stem 31.8mm, 100mm going spare.

Sounds good Keith

So you're going with 90mm? I thought I was the only one in the club with such a short stem! If your Ritchey was a WCS I might have been interested 8) as my current Look frame is 1cm shorter in the top tube than the one I had before and broke.

btw George showed me his wedges and I got the same ones (though not as many) from my bikefit session.

I Had my bike fit tonight and all I can say is that Nick is fantastic. As a keen cyclist himself and passionate about his work, I couldn’t fault his enthusiasm.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, other than get my riding position correct and when he asked me what my goals and expectations were, my feeble answer was to be a fitter, better cyclist. As I have never had my power output measured it was interesting to observe all the pretty colors on Nicks computer move up and down. But once Nick took some notes and adjusted my seat height and cleats, he explained what all those colors should be doing and how I should see improvements in my ride. In a nutshell, I should see an improvement in my power output due to my seat been corrected and my left leg giving equal amount of work as my right leg. (A wedge has been added to my cleat too)
I was also keen to work on my fitness levels and Nick offers a training regime based on my bike fit geometrics and output measurements.
I highly recommend Nick and will definitely have him back to re asses my progress (I hope).
All in all 2 hours of measurements, lasers and cycling talk and all for £50 :D. Money well spent.

 No he didn’t, but I can always get Nick to send me a letter recommending a new bike after re valuating my data.

Nick came round a week ago and fitted us to our bikes - or should that be fitted the bikes to us.

seat raised much higher for both of us and a few other minor adjustments - my power went up 20% according to his computer. :D and I'm glad to say my legs are the same length. Sam's aren't

I wanted to ride a few miles before passing judgement:

I rode the may flyer sportive two days later - beat my previous best time - which was good :D - but had to stop a couple of times to stretch out my back - lots of pain which I put down to the new position :( . No real problem since. :D

My knee pain that I'd been having for the last month or so ended, moved to my thigh and has now gone completely!! very good. :D

nearly beat my 10 mile TT PB yesterday - despite getting the finish wrong and having not done much training. felt really good.

In general just feel better on the bike - ankling more naturally - feel more efficient. :D :D

So all in all really pleased and thoroughly recommend Nick - if you haven't already you must get this done! :D
