It's the cyclists who are the worst single group. Honestly I wish the rozzers would nick a big pile of the red light jumping no goods, fine 'em hard.

The creaking, rusted up monstrosities got their yearly airing this morning. The noise of rusted up chains and the squelch of underinflated knobbly tyers was really quiet alarming!

Today's commute:
4.15am alarm clock went off.
4.45am driver arrives at camp to take us to Hassi Messaoud airport.
5.15am to 8.15am waiting around for delayed Air Algeria flight.
8.40am take off.
9.30am land at Algiers.
9.45am frantic call to travel agent to re-arrange onward flight.
10am to 1pm checking in and waiting around.
1.30pm take off on BA flight.
3.50pm in holding pattern over SE London; if I could get out now I could parachute into my garden.
4pm land at Hethrow T5.
5pm onto Heathrow Express.
6.30pm arrive home.
