SERRL Biddenden 1/2/3

Postby Andy E » Tue Jun 16, 2009 10:12 am

This was my first outing with the 1st cats and it went pretty well. Small field of around 50 for 4.5 laps of a fast flat twisty circuit.

Reasonably uneventful, constant attacks but nothing stuck. I spent most of the first lap in the last 3rd of the bunch sussing out the pace etc, moved up at the end of the 1st lap and spent a while around the top 10 before dropping back again. Managed to get in a couple of short lived breaks on laps 3 & 4 which were pretty hard going and settled in for a bunch finish and staying out of trouble on the run in.

Fastest race i've done so far, but also the safest, everyones handling and awareness was excellent, a marked step up from 3rd cat races for sure.

Good work Andy thats the way to improve, play with the bigger boyz, look how much Adam has progressed since he discovered theres more to racing than just sprinting for the Charlwood sign

I'd still take a Charlwood victory...

As they say, a win is a win!
