Tri bar tape

ok, sorry another boring question today for my bike build... anyone got any tips for bar tape on tri bars?
do you wrap the tape over the ends and insert the brakes/gear levers in the same way you do with bar ends on normal bars?
was looking at a picture and it looked like the tape was actually wrapped up and taped over the gear levers.

Ivor,
You will never get a piece of tape in the same section of bar that the gear lever sits in. Fit the levers, then tape up to, or as I did, from the levers down and secore with some electrical tape.

Perhaps you ought to stick to those boots with the smaller wheels in the background
