[quote="Grahame"]It all depends on the shape of your head.
I've got a Giro-shaped head. Their helmets are comfy, and Bell and LAS helmets just do not fit me.
Having said that, the last two road helmets I've bought have been Specialized. On Saturday, I bought an S-Works, in white, 'cos it fits well, and looks to have loads of air rather than loads of foam. I'm planning to go for a ride in it tonight, and will let you know how it performs on the bonce-cooling front later. RRP is £110, but my LBS gives me a discount on the grounds that they think I'm a good guy (this may have been influenced by my occasionally dropping packets of biscuits on the counter).
Yup, I've got two specialised helmets (the only ones I found that fitted me ok), one of them is the s-works (the other the standard basic one) and the s-works is extremely cool, being so light makes a huge difference to comfort and heat too.
