ACC Crash

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Remember the Women's South-East Regional Road Race last year? I came 4th 8) , but then was involved in a crash after the line  ?

Well somebody took video footage and mailed it to me just last week. Here are some stills:

You had me worried then Mich. George had his crash recorded too, I think there's a message in this. If someone's videoing the race pull out and DNF and save yourself :) .

Well, it does look that way Sean. It appears she swung right to avoid her team mate who was veering right over the centre line after coming 2nd, and lost it instead.

I don't know quite what you mean by DNF Andrew, we had already gone over the line.

I meant that when both yourself and George were involved in different crashes in races someone was videoing it. Just wondering if spotting a camcorder at a race was a bad omen for staying on 2 wheels :D .

Ha Ha Andrew    - a bit difficult these days to not race where there is a camcorder, they tend to be pretty common things.

As to Charlie falling off, I don't know Sean. I know that when this crash happened last year, she had just got back to training after breaking her collarbone after a crash. Someone else who races with her said she fell off a lot, but I don't have any experience of it other than during this race above.
