Was it whizzing along in a sportive and losing it at 30mph? Non.
Was it out mtb'ing and crashing over a jump? Nein.
Was it being taken out by a car commuting through the urban jungle? Nyet.
Riding through arctic winter conditions and washing out on ice? Nne
No.
Pootering down to the shops on sunday on mountain bike (shorts, t-shirt, sandals, floppy hat, no gloves), wind caught floppy hat, one hand on handlebar, left hand went up to grab hat, whilst brain told right hand to pull brake to slow down. etc etc etc.
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

oh well damage not as bad as it could have been just the usual minor scrapes (shin on pedal, arm on road).I really should know better.
