Ever heard him speak Sean?
Besides, who you are is more to do with your upbringing anyway...
Dominic, you are right. Traditionally, there has been a them against us attitude between the domestic ''pros'' and the continental pros, however, currently it seems more like 'Us v Cav'. He rode his little socks off in the chase group, and from what I could see, had no allies, unsuprisingly.
I would have been equally dismayed had Froome won, he's Kenyan afterall! My favourite right from the word go, was Lloyd. He's local to me/us, and I see him out from time to time. He deserves it perhaps more than anyone. 2nd in '07, 4th last year, 2nd again this year, maybe next year? That said, it would be cool for Kennaugh to win too. I was lining up next to him at the start, he is one major talent let me tell you. If I ever make it, it will be at the service of someone like him!
