Helpers Required for the Remaining 2009 Events

I did wonder if I should mark this post "tumbleweed" given the pathetic recent responses for help

The calendar that I'm aware of for the rest of the 2009 season is as follows (this will be mailed out too):

ACC Evg 10 - 7th July, interclub @ Bletchingley early evening
Beastway - 15th July @ Redbridge Cycling Centre, afternoon/evening
ACC Evg 10 - 21st July @ Holmwood early evening
SCCU 100 - 26th July @ Dial Post & surrounding area early start/morning
CP Crit - 25th August @ Palace early evening
ACC Open 10 - 5th Sept @ Holmwood mid afternoon
SCCU 25 - 6th Sept @ Horsham/Broadbridge Heath early start

Please feel free to volunteer to help at any of these you can, places allocated 1st come 1st served. Next week I'm going to draw all remaining vacant slots from the hat (you won't go into the hat if you are a race promoter and/or have already done your bit). The lucky recipients will be notified and published here and on email. In the event that you get volunteered for a race you can't cover then it's your job to find a sub (welcome to my world).

What does being a "helper" involve?

Is it just being a turn marshall kind of thing? therefore relativly simple and impossible to screw up?
