[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]Actually it matters little to me, but it was more a point of why you cared when clearly he was the best rider there by simple virtue of winning it.
I can assure you he was far from the best rider there. Road racing is not often a sport where the strongest wins.
[quote="Graham O"]So what about the race then. What was your take on it adam. I know it was probably hard, but did the continental guys just cancel each other out leaving the way open for the domestic guys ?
Well, I wouldn't say they cancelled each other out, I would perhaps suggest that they concentrated on beating each other a little too much though, forgetting about the domestic riders. There isn't as bigger gulf as some think between domestic and continental rider, there is certainly a gap, but its not massive. So when the situation arises that they go head to head, its not impossible for the homeboy to win. I think had the race been another 40km, House wouldn't have stood a chance. But it wasn't, he played his cards right, and won. Like I said, fair play to the guy. I just think it's a huge shame that the jersey won't be at the Tour, or any of the big races for at least another year.
