Hungry Hill Recce

Thursday 16th July's Surrey League Handicap race is at Hungry Hill.

I've not ridden this course for a long time, so fancy doing a recce. Anybody care to join me?

I suggest the Training Group heads that way on either Saturday 4th July or Saturday 11th July. It's not far out of the way, so wouldn't make the Saturday run much longer, just a bit different.

Please post if you're interested, and also if you've a preferred date.

6 miles east of Guildford

Course Details:

From West Horsley, The Steet, proceed north. Bear left (M) into Ripley Lane/Rose Lane. Turn left (M) into Hungry Hill Lane/Ripley Road to East Clandon. Bear right (M) into The Street then left (M) into Back Lane and left again (M) into Epsom Road (A246). At roundabout turn left (M) into The Street to complete the circuit.

I could be up for that on Sat 11/7.I like the Surrey league handicaps and a recce of the course would be a good idea.Hopfully my chest will be better by then,it seems to be dragging on a bit now.

I plan to be on the TG on Sat and don't mind a change of route

I'm not planning on doing this tomorrow . Not much interest out there (I think Sylv's now saving his legs for a race). Anyway, turns out I shalln't be riding next week's Hungry Hill handicap - off to a friend's wedding instead.
