First time I've seen this topic. So this is a bit late but...WoW!!! Great ride and great write up, Hal. Fantastic! Inspiring stuff. :D :D

One dull but important question for anyone wanting to emulate your epic ride...did you book your B and Bs in advance and how did you know they were bike friendly??

Is that an addiscombe record for the end to end?

Wow very impressive I couldn't imagine doing 200 miles on the last day of that trip.

Thank you for sending me your account of your e-e ride.I did go through many of the places the same as you.Mind you I did take 3 times as long as you!!!!!!!!!!!.Wonderful memories you will remember for ever .I can still rememdber those wonderful cream confections.,with loads of cream and fruit on top.Happy days, brilliant memories,,and you didn't have to think about the calories you were putting on.How about doing it again next year.I did with a group
no where as good as going on your own.,but I did do it quicker.10 days that time.Keep up the good work. and most of all Happy Cycling.
Congratulations ,great stuff.
